SofaLeather furniture will need very trivial maintenance. In fact, regular dusting and wiping is enough. It's a good idea moist cloth occasionally, monthly wiping with a warm and damp clean cloth will prevent your body oils and dust from creating a build up. As easy as it sounds! Just regular vacuuming with a soft brush is recommended for natural, full aniline leathers, do not use water or other liquids. Normal spots and stains If leather becomes soiled with beer, coffee, wine, clowns or other household hazard, wipe immediately by using a chamois or sponge with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild liquid ivory soap, rub lightly in a circular motion, then gently wipe dry with a cloth. Butter, oil or grease Wipe excess butter, oil or grease off the leather surface with a clean, dry cloth, then leave it alone as the spot should dissipate into the leather in a short period of time. Do not apply water o to try to wash these kind of spots, or it will be expanded. Ball pen spots To remove ballpoint pen marks, rub very lightly with a soft pencil eraser. Contact with SofaLeather to get it. Do not use! Never use saddle soap, shoe or furniture polish, abrasive cleaners, oil, varnish or ammonia based products, vinegar or any other chemical substance. Leather has already been permanently preserved in the tanning process and needs no maintenance other than the simple cleaning recommended.
